scmn | Personally I think that an EV would be a perfect fit for my wife 90% or the time but I know that for the other 10% of the time she would need to take my ICE powered truck and then that would leave me without the vehicle I would need.
What do you do on the days your wife needs a truck now? Do you drive her car? Before we had 2 pickups my wife would stay "I need to take the truck tomorrow." When we had one truck and she would take it on the days she needed it and I would take it on the days I needed it; sometimes those days overlapped so we would figure out how to switch it out in the middle of the day or compromise and one would wait until the following day or we would turn it into one trip.
In our household, we each drive all of the vehicles; they are not his/hers. Now we have multiple trucks and sometimes choice comes down to which one it not hooked to a trailer at the moment. I can only think of a few times a year where it would be absolutely beneficial to have 2 heavy trucks where we would both be pulling GN trailers at the same time (i.e. camper and livestock trailer to a cattle show.) |
