55912 | Nobody is against ev vehicles. Well almost nobody. The problem of zero emissions and trying to sell the green idea without taking in the full effect of environmental impacts that go with it is the problem. It's when people say how great wind energy is and you live next to a pile of 5 yr old blades that can't be recycled and are headed for a landfill, and all are built from oil and gas drivers, it's a tuff sale of the benefit and environmental friendly. And almost all the extremely pro solar/wind / ev fans push a narrative that these sources have zero impact on the environment regardless of the facts. Just maybe if the story was told with an understanding it's not a uphoria of never/never land it would be a better sale. | |
