Agent Orange: Friendly fire that keeps on burning.

Chuck, I'm glad you find my posts helpful.
Allow me a tangent here: I have an agreement with my son who now runs the farm: I offer my advice and help only when asked. So it seems he wanted some help operating and breaking his brand new combine and driving truck. I got to use my EV for actual farm work that consisted of driving to his yard and leaving the car parked while I did farmhand stuff. and then, at the end of the day I had to drive my car home.
Talk about a change, climbing out of a semi, that needed to be started, clutched, shifted, and park brakes set, cooled down and then shut off.
Walk up to my car that has kept the cabin cool in the afternoon sun, the door opens on my approach, I get in, tap the brake and the door closes, buckle my seat-belt and the seat and mirrors adjust, check the screen to make sure the car has guessed correctly whether I want to reverse or go forward, if the car guessed right, press the juice pedal and go.
You are kinda giving bad advice when you suggest that folks try an EV. They might like the experience so well they will feel compelled to buy one.
