Roller crimping will not kill alfalfa. Rick has tried many things but alfalfa is a survivor.
I know Rick, really like him and his family, especially his dad, one of the kindest and nice guys you’ll ever come across.
My opinion, for soil health and improving the environment he’d be better off to fence it all in, plant grass and run cattle.
