Kolorado | My 2 cents is to use the ones one click above that. The SCH crop lifters.
They're Schumacher and there are gazillions of them out there in all different colors and names. They mount by using a bigger nut on the bottom of the sickle guard, and the nut can be left on there permanently and the lifters can be taken on and off in seconds.
The SCH price isn't too bad, but can maybe shop around and find cheaper. For JD it's probably easier, can be found for 26 to 30 bucks for JD.
In the right rough ground or operator, you can and will bend some of the Schumachers. But have never heard of anybody tearing up the header like some brands will.
In notill ground we'll maybe bend 2 to 4 of them over 4000 acres. On ground that was plowed before planting, double that number of bent of more.
