Kendall County, IL | I have a GVM Mako sprayer factory equipped with a Raven Envisio with a Raven 660 to control sprayer functions and the envisio also controls the autosteer. All my other equipment is John Deere/Greenstar so I'm thinking about switching this machine over. I have the globes, rate controller, and a 2630 with section control, the only parts I would need would be harnessing (AGExpress) and an Atu 200/300 for the steering. It is my understanding the 2630/rate controller would eliminate the Envisio and the 660 and there is an adapter harness to connect a rate controller harness to Raven harness to control Raven valves, flow meters, etc.
Before I make the conversion, I'd like to know if I am forgetting anything that would make this a headache to fine tune. Part of my rationale for this conversion is my Evisio has a failing touchscreen and apparently it can't be repaired(?) Also, I am not happy with the WAAS correction with the Raven system and I have several globes unlocked to SF3. I'm not crazy about the ATU in the cab but they are quick and easy to install.
