I'm more impressed with the box you have the ears in.   Quite impressive.  Never seen anything like it.   Bet ya can't buy that at Walmart.  ;)

There is some value in pulling ears.  But the value is very minor compared to harvest yield and harvest evaluation.  Harvest evaluation of stalk strength, root strength, test weight, moisture content, and so forth.  But yield is easily the number one consideration.   Personally, I don't understand how looking at a dozen or so ears of corn, out of the tens of thousands that are in an acre of corn.... can really tell us all that much.   But that's just me.
