Southeast WI | You would surely laugh at the soils we farm here compared to that ground! Very nice to see these types of field days happening across the Midwest and beyond.
What are your thoughts on others changing their practices from intense tillage and adopting more what you (or I) do for farming - notill, covers, more diverse rotations (you)? Here we see small "pods" of farmers adapt similar practices as neighbors and it spreads slowly outward. However at the speed it's going none of us will live long enough to see most step away from tillage. Never thought we'd hear the same arguments 30 years later of "it don't work". | |
