NE Nebraska | Cheapest option for you would be to find a used 20/20 gen 2 and Smart Connector and just use it to monitor and map seed. This will give you all the planting info you want as well as mapping capabilities and the ability to map on an iPad with FieldView if you want. Use your Trimble display to provide gps to the 20/20 and use the Trimble to control your clutches since that is already in place and I’m guessing working well.
Reason for a gen 2 display is: gives you the ability to run FieldView without a module, it can run rowflow if you wanted to use the 20/20 to control clutches or hyd drives, it gives you the ability to upgrade to air or hyd downforce and electric drives if you ever want to.
Disclaimer, we run a FMX with gen 2 20/20 with rowflow then upgraded to hyd downforce and eclectic drives 5 years ago. Use trimble for steering and 2 fertilizer systems. Works great.
