Are all 4GB CF cards the same? I used one from the dealer for my harvest maps last year and it worked great, just thinking since they are only 15 bucks on amazon i'd just get a new card every year so their is no confusion when I download the maps into other software for viewing?

No, all CF cards are not the same; you should be fine to reuse the same card year after year. Best practice is to wipe all data off the card using your PC before starting the new season. You can format the card if you want, or just delete all the data. That way you won't have any of last year's data that could accidentally get recalibrated this year, etc. Recommend also deleting all data from the display, since the display stores a backup copy of all your summary data (not maps). |
