SW Wisconsin | My brother and sister spent 1 semester during college in Copenhagen. They said people are slightly more active, but not drastically. They were surprised at the amount of sugar consumed. My brother said the family he stayed with would spend one evening a week watching a movie or TV, and every person had a large bowl full of candy. My sister's host family came here to visit, we had pancakes once and the young girl put about 1/2" of white sugar on hers. They're doing something different, but it's not keto. I think the every day bread that the locals eat is coarser; they've commented a couple of times on some coarse, whole wheat sourdough bread that it's similar. | |
