I don't think most farmers work 32 hours a week. And they are making more than the union workers.
And they have lots of money invested in a business. That is called return on investment.
With the governments help of course.
Depends on how old you are and when you started farming. Lots of young guys haven’t been to the government trough very often. Yes they have subsidized crop insurance but they didn’t get the huge government money some of the guys got decades ago.
