Glenwood, Mn | I have a Trex Installed by previous owner about 20 years ago. The family deck is on the backside on the north in the shade. Gets moss/mildew but easy to power wash. Front deck is on the south and in the sun all day. It does get hot where you will need to wear sandles. It’s just the landing for our split level so not a big deal. It’s a maroon color. I doubt if a lighter color would help.
Would I put one on if it were me? Absolutely. No maintenance other than power washing it once a year. I’ve owned the house for 15 years and that’s all I’ve ever done. Will probably last another 15 from the looks of it. | |
