Iowa - Floyd County | Brand new to Deere guidance. Will be running a 2630 in a 9760sts for steering in the Fall and moving it to a MX200 with an ATU in the Spring for steering and sprayer control. I have everything but a receiver. I’ve read enough to know ITC’s are basically useless to me; then there are 3000’s, 6000’s, and the new 7000’s. I’m planning on running the basic signal, I was running WAAS on the Trimble system this will replace. Is a 3000 good enough for what I need? I’ve read that even the basic signal is better with a 6000? Is there any benefits to finding a 6000? The used ones I’m finding have a huge price range and I can’t tell that there’s any difference in them other than those unlocked to RTK which I would expect to be higher. Also some say they have the deluxe shroud, what’s the difference there? Sorry for the ignorant questions, I’ve been reading what I could but I’m still not sure what I need/want. Thanks guys. | |
