Beware of the really cheap ones. Stick to a known brand. I always got SanDisk, never had one fail. Can't say the same of the cheaper brands.

I agree especially when using them for harvest data. I purchased some cheap large capacity USB sticks and tried to use them with my InCommand 1200 and for music in my car/truck/tractor players. They didn't work out to be compatible in all situations. I really should just toss them as they have caused me grief. Using them for music is certainly not very vital but when they don't work reliably it is a nuisance.
