PROSPECT, TENNESSEE
Something good happened to cotton production in the last few years. Most everyone rotated the ground. There was ground that had been in cotton for 10+ years. When cotton is re introduced on this rotated ground, most farmers are going to decide corn in a rotation is going to pay! With grain prices where they are a soybean, corn, cotton rotation will be awsome! I say all of this and I am not planting a stalk in 2010. If prices hold thru 2010 I will start the rotation, cotton was the only thing I lost money on in 2009. I also have got to replace my picker.
