Currently have TruGuide which is a passive system. Looking at going with an active one. Since I have the unlock do I pursue TruTrakker? Which hitch is used for that? I know LaForge makes one but it’s my understanding they use Homburg Holland for the GPS which to me doesn’t make sense to purchase that when I have one piece of the equation already. I like the Laforge classic hitch but wished I could use my Trimble TruGuide for the GPS and cabling. Wondered what those who have active systems how they are setup.
I've run a protrakker which is one of the more popular ones I believe. It all depends what you're trying to do. If you're trying to keep a big drawn planter on top of striptill without excessive unit down pressure, it won't happen. The steer point is way too far from the ground contact point. If you're notill or conventional and just trying to hold sidehills a little better, it will help some. |
