Medicine Mound,TX | We have had some deer damage on cotton. They ate quite a bit of it. The hogs would eat the green bolls then after it opened the deer would eat the lint. Usually only happens in dry years when they don't have anything else to eat(i.e. the wheat is not up). High Fiber Diet!!!!
Don't think we will ever quit growing cotton unless wheat prices stays at 20 dollars. Mostly because we can't grow anything else and make money.
