If you go the guidance only FJ route a couple of scenarios come to mind, yes it's cheap and gets you the fundamentals of what you want, but it has limited expandability to other things like sprayer or planter control or yield monitoring. So, you spend the 7k or so now but then when you want to do more later you will have to buy a fully functional system later if you want to do more. The other thing is service and support. If it breaks, I highly doubt anyone is truly fixing them, maybe get a replacement during warranty but then what? They run on an android platform, which isn't the most stable thing in the world... Good Luck!
The AT 1 was limited, but AT 2 has been greatly improved and it has ISOBUS & Implement control, with additional improvements coming. It's NOT an AG Leader, but neither is its price. Don't know about support and parts. Don't have one, but have watched European farmers using it and they all seem to be happy.
