Fellow TN farmer here. I have a good friend that bought a 5075 and we help each other with hay. What you have to look at is PTO ratings. If you are going to hook a disc mower or baler to 5075, you are going to be sorely disappointed. Just not enough horsepower there unless it is thin hay on level ground, which is almost non-existent in middle TN. He really regrets the purchase. I do not like the 5000 series wheelbase. Just a rough riding tractor even with an air seat. I cannot see it on your photo but see if the 5095 can be set wider and has larger tires. Just doing a cursory search, there does not appear to be too much difference in price. Horsepower always for itself sooner or later. I would get the 5095 and never look back.
There isn't a huge differance in price, tractors seem to be mostly the same, except for the engine, tires can be specified the same size, not sure if the 5075M could handle the 18.4-34's. Tractor would be our first with a emissons system, don't look foward to using def. I do have a 5'x4' baler and a 5 disc mower. Has your neighbor got a 5075E or 5075M? |
