I am surprised that more aren't trying to get above 750 hp. I have heard over 750 you don't have to have all tier 4 emissions stuff. I could see a 751 hp tractor being cheaper than a 600 hp when you don't have to require all the extra "stuff"
That's probably because it's not true anymore...They were a half step behind for years above 750hp, but in 2015 they all caught up again. So, all engines are Tier4F at least now, and some are starting Tier 5 now
I love the new power numbers, everyone rates peak power, in X gear, under X load, when the stars align and we decide you can have it. Actual power is 100+ hp less....not saying they aren't huge, powerful, amazing tractors, but that 9RX830 is marketing hype for likely a 670-700hp tractor. New Holland started it, then everyone else followed suit, makes it really fun to help customers decide which tractor is ACTUALLY right for them, when the coffee shop and neighbors help them spend their money.
