Near Intersection of I-35 & I-90 Southern Mn. | That may well be the case. The feeler system shown on the brochure consisted of an arm that was raised for transport. I assume it was left down when while turning around while actually spraying. This arm was fairly complex and was either electrically or hydraulically controlled.
It appeared the arm itself would be quite expensive compared to the rather simple mounting arrangement that is used with the feelers on a corn head.
Due to higher speeds when spraying compared to harvesting there may have been other complications. |
