SE Iowa | But Profarmer is just measuring length of cob and kernels round. Nothing with weights or depth of kernels. Anymore grain fill and depth of kernels is the most important aspect to high yields. I don’t think delaying it a week would have done much. They are finding potential and throwing a wag at yields. I’ve never seen a corn field picked in August here but I saw one this weekend. No not chopped, it was picked. Bunker corn maybe but that can’t be a good sign for grain fill here. | |
