NE IA | In my little area and I am saying a 6 mile circle I think we will be above 197 but that could change a lot as we are very dry and have been living rain to rain all year long but also have good dirt that will hold moisture, go any direction and it gets light in a hurry and the stuff that is sand was dead after the first day of high heat last week.
I havent traveled much of the state at all this year, went to Muscatine the end of June and things looked pretty tough all the way down there but conditions could have improved. Went the cities a few weeks ago and things looked really bad and I'm pretty sure they didnt turn it around. If I had to give my guess I would say state average will end up in the 195-197 range honestly just cant say if it is truthful or not. | |
