Are you sure about that? I know at one time was told our district was the highest price zone as far as seed corn was concerned in the corn belt, think SoDak would be in our region. Am also guessing some of the fertilizer inputs would be cheaper closer to the river? Don’t know anything for a fact just wondering. The SD ground north of SF is very expensive, good dirt but in my opinion higher than most of that quality. The other thing is basis historically would be better in Ill, not sure about SoDak’s area now though.
