Ne Nebraska | Went out and looked at some dryland corn yesterday, 1/3 the plants are solid brown, kernels are drying up prematurely, showing near black layer, and gettin quite small and shriveled, 1/3 plants are green on top yet, ears are dropped and showing 1/4 starch line, last 1/3 ears are half way dropped and just past dent. Kernal count won’t be horrible, but kernal weight will be BAD! | |
