This isn't that far from rich79. They aren't all dead.

Stopped and took a few pictures Thursday afternoon, about 4 pm. That was the fourth day of 100* temps, and the beans had had all day to cook to perfection. Even the milkweed was starting to think it was hot.

The beans seem to have handled it. They got 3/4" Friday night, so I don't suppose they look any worse now.

That field made 37 bpa in 2012, I expect better this year.
