| Imagine traders with millions of dollars on grain positions. Hell, even hedge funds with tens of millions or 100’s of millions trading grain. All on the line, more money than most people can even fathom, and you’re sitting there, watching Twitter waiting for some randos to go trespassing on other peoples property so they can “randomly sample and count the kernels” to guessssstimate at yield. I can’t imagine having that much money on the line and then relying on these people to decide if you should sell 5 million in grain. If you are in control of that much money and trading in grain, surely you didn’t get there by being an astute observer of pro farmer counters | |
