Owens Cross Roads, AL | Hey Woodie, how did your cotton yield this year? I talked to guys the other day that said they their best crop ever in the field until the wet weather hit. Cut their yields in half, ended up making 750-900 lbs. Which cotton varieties do you like? I'm not too familiar with the new flex, I liked the old 444's and 1218's. I am a grain farmer at heart, but my crop insurance yields lead me to cotton a lot of years. Wilson | |
