EC SoDak | Yes sir. With our area seemingly stuck in below avg moisture, I’m changing over to vertical till on my non silage or manure ground. It’s pretty neat, you can adjust from 0-12 degrees of angle from the monitor or map though the field. My next project before harvest is I can make RX maps for the fields so it’ll automatically change gang angle, depth, and basket down pressure through the field.
I was apart of the black dirt mafia, still am on some ground, but with how dry it’s been I’m changing tillage practices. I rented a family members VT rig last fall, and it seemed to work very well for this year. | |
