If your beans end up like the beans that we've had die prematurely in the past, they will take much longer to get ready to combine than if they had had enough water to mature normally. They'll just hang on to the smallest sliver of life for a long long time, not adding any yield but not maturing/drying down either.
What's really neat is if you end up getting rain in another week or two and they start putting out new green leaves that will remain green until they freeze at some point. Seen it happen a few times before on sandy ground.
