Owens Cross Roads, AL | I did not plant any cotton in 07 and 09. Corn price in 07 and soybean price 09 were the reasons not to plant. As for 2010, cotton appears to be in the mix because of a little better price and lower grain prices. It is hard not to plant some with pickers and support equipment setting in the shed. Cotton takes more money and more trips across the field, but can pay alot of bills with 2 bale plus yields. Cotton brought me to the dance, so it is hard not to dance with her again. Wilson | |
