I’m picking up what you’re laying down now. We didn’t change the lower hitch at all so the upper pivot is dead center above the hitch pin.
The plow never comes off this tractor, but I actually think it would be very little time difference hooking the plow up now than it would have been originally. You would just have to remove the bolts in the plate ahead of the steering cylinders. Taking the stringer arm off would be a bit more involved. Personally even if we farmed with the tractor, I would just leave the stringer arm on the tractor. It folds around the front compactly enough that it really isn’t in the way. The potentiometer beside the cab has a electric actuator in the tube that the potentiometer is mounted on. The actuator will pull the potentiometer in towards the tractor so even that is narrower than the tracks. We can even haul it on our lowboy with the arm and plow on the tractor.
