When I started farming my parents place, I chiseled it once at a angle, then straight with how I wanted to farm it and pulled a harrowgator behind it. Planted into a stale seedbed in the spring and it worked good.
Usually just chisel in the fall, then hit it with a finisher in the spring anymore. Unless I'm going to try and haul manure on it when it's frozen
