Where was the air conditioning plumbed in the red cab? We’ve only had a grey cabs, a 750 and and 860 that we still have. Both of them had vents on the underside of the front instrument panel that you could somewhat direct onto you.

If the air conditioner was running properly it would be decent in there but definitely would never freeze you out. Recharging them was a yearly event. Just no way around that. I’ve likely spent more days combining in them without air conditioning than with it working.

When combining cereals there’s nothing better than the cool breeze you get when you change direction at the end of the field because the cloud of dust and chaff stays behind you and you can feel that nice cool 100 degree breeze come through the open door. In hindsight I wish I would have brought a thermometer into the cab to see how hot it got in there with the door closed. I’m getting soft. Now I want to shut down if I have to steer it myself. Lol
