Dad had a 510 that you drove one day and then worked on it for two days.
I started out with one of those too! I wasn't much of a mechanic, but I got to where I could change out gears in the transmission in a few hours.
I started out with a worn out 7700 with a neighbor and then went to a 510 when we separated. Not sure which one trained me more. No fires, so that was a plus.
Back in the combine again
