South Central MN | What maintenance are you doing twice a day?
The deck plates are the real deal. The slip clutches on all the gear boxes work great. I chewed up a metal fence t-post and the only damage was to the chopping knives. Had a piece wedged in the stalk rolls but didn't hurt anything there.
Morning maintenance on our 8 row probably takes 10-20 minutes each day. We haven't noticed any difference in how well it works wet or dry, but it will build up fluff like crazy over the back of the head in almost all conditions. Doesn't affect performance but does make a mess. | |
