What you know ain’t worth knowing. You, I , none of us that smart. Focus on what you need to sleep at nite. Sell small increments. When in doubt sell half. Play seasonal trends. Separate futures and basis. Never get forced into a bad sale because you need cash flow. Those are a few of my rules. I’ll typically start selling small increments a year or more ahead of harvest and finish up 8 months after harvest. You should have a few good opportunities in that length of time.
