I doubt there are many top 5% farmer marketers here-I would guess maybe 4%? :)
Look at the historically high months for the crop you are marketing. Sell a % each of those top months-history shows you will outperform a lot of the "experts". Your local elevator may have some averaging programs to make it even easier.
There is nobody that can "guarantee" you a profit every year-the market doesn't care about your cost of production.
