Nebraska | We are all novice's as no one knows what it will do tommorrow so don't put yourself down. Its just some people have higher comfort levels with risk.
I make cash sales only when/if I feel like its an opportunity and if I think i'll have the grain to deliver ( my area is feast or famine). Its best to market old crop in this area also as you seem to gain up to a dollar or more a bushel doing it that way rather than taking the pre harvest dec. markets and delivering at harvest.
But what do I know, my shoes aren't your shoes...
