deep SW On. | From old guys perspective,fwiw... Knowing COP is good for financial planning doesn't really do much for marketing as what if whole yr. prices is below your COP what is your plan.. Marketing u need to sell for at least above average prices ,match sales to payments or before due. Write only cash contracts. A lot more farms have been lost trading futures than have bought.
Follow seasonal pricing. Sell hard when prices are at historical highs . Don't ever think you are smarter than the market.
As far as the "top 5% of farmers/marketers on NAT' , imho the Top 5% never would post on NAT market page and never share there sales. Remember everybody giving advice is pumping the market towards there selling point. Good luck | |
