SEMN

We’ve got a lot to learn and when I first heard of the a2a2 gene making the milk easier to digest I was doubtful but there is definitely something to it. An automatic bucket type milker is on the list to keep the milk cleaner and to better make sure we empty her udders to prevent mastitis. They called this one a “midsize” (like a Chevy impala) cow she is 2.5 years AI’d with sexed semen due in December. We will be drying her off a couple months before she calves.

1 udder, 4 quarters. Make sure you get all quarters emptied*
