I think that has been the main problem. Rather than a choice we have been herded, goaded, shamed, coerced and in some cases even job threatened or taken away about not getting the shot. Had it been freedom of choice with proper education and potential risks exposed with taking the shot I doubt if there would be many people with negative attitudes about it.

As it turned out, there is a lot of distrust in the medical and pharmaceutical industry AND government agency because of the way it was handled.
