Wyoming | 2014 model- 1st year of DEF ? Lower hours….1060 /1240
PDU 3719.15 code - exhaust filter restricted. No other codes.
Tried to do parked regen. Wouldn’t complete. ECU aborted the cleaning.
Had Deere tech come out. Service regen would not complete either. Not building enough heat . Maxing out at 520 ish degrees.
DEF injector removed/replaced. DPF removed and baked/cleaned while getting the DEF unit cleaned up (see picture)
Still no regen.
Deere Dtac? Said the injector cutout test showed injectors were the cause of no heat as the load didn’t increase enough on a few of the injectors during the test.
Tech consulted several other resources and were all skeptical of injectors being the solution. Replaced the dpf fuel dosing valve due to a pressure reading he thought was problematic. Flushed injectors.
No regen still.
Replaced injectors. Heat did increase…. Up into the 890ish degree area. But still wouldn’t start the dosing system to take the heat on up to the regen cleaning/burn phase.
Now was getting a couplie other codes. One was something about turbo spline temp being high I believe. I’ll have to try and get the exact codes that came up.
Anyhow, he said he’s convinced that dtac hasn’t seen this before. He said when he left at 8:30 pm on Friday that we might not plan on this machine making it to the field this year.
Anyone had anything similar to this experience or have suggestions? Starting to wonder if it’s a glitchy ecu or something. But the DEF injector area did appear to have an issue….
