NW central IL | only thing id say against a mounted plow is when its froze the tractor would bouce too much and cause it to have to work more to keep grade, compared to a pitch plow where it keeps grade with just the sword in the ground. look at a johnson, gold digger, waynes is a good design, but i think in winter it might be a problem if your laying some flat grades down. i own the big johnson plow, and dont regret it. buy a good tow rope, youll need it. | |
