I still have one of those plows floating around. It doesn't see many hours anymore but we have broke that same bolt.
Unless your going to pull that shanks guts out on your new project I'd just heat a pierce of "all thread" and bend it to that shape. We have done that on a few of them. They haven't broke yet.....
