The two we have experience with are Johnson and Gold Digger. I prefer the Johnson. It is the heaviest, best built plow on the market, but even more importantly, it has an 11' long bottom shoe on the boot. I believe that's important for the best grade control.

As was said above, weight, slow speed, and traction is more important than hp.
