My wife has a creamed corn recipe where you cut the corn off the cob raw, add whole milk and butter, and bake in the oven in a blue roaster for an hour stirring every 15 minutes, then put in a zip lock bag. 80 cobs to a batch, I pick and husk.
That’s how my wife has been doing it the last 4 or 5 years. I think it stays fresher tasting.
