Eastern WA | Talked to one of the neighbors yesterday and he was telling me about something like this. The company comes out and flys your field (chem fallow or post harvest stubble) and the drone maps out any green plants. They turn this into a prescription spray map and you put it in your sprayer gps. Then go spray and it just turns your boom sections on and off as needed.
If they can do that, I can imagine they could write a prescription map for a spray drone as well. I think he said they were charging $5 an acre to fly and make the prescription. | |
