16% protein is costing $160/ton up here. Feed it on the ground. When cattle are wintered on the range, bunks aren't feasible.
If your set up to feed in bunks, don't spend the money to process cake. Lot's of feed's are cheaper than cake. With cake, you pay for the convenience of the large size so that you can feed it on the ground.
What is cake?
